The baskets
What's in a Purely Ontario basket?
Products from at least five independent Ontario makers, put together by us in Toronto. Think honey, bath salts, specialty food and the kind of things you won't find on a supermarket shelf. Every piece is made in Ontario, by someone we can name.
Is everything really made in Ontario?
Yes. That's the whole idea. If it wasn't made in Ontario, it doesn't go in the box. Ask us about any item and we can tell you the town.
Who are the makers?
Independent, small-batch producers from across the province. Most of them sell direct, so a lot of what we stock is hard to find anywhere else. We know every one of them by first name, and we're happy to tell you who made what.
Can I swap items out?
Yes. Allergies, dietary needs, someone on the team who simply refuses to eat honey. Tell us and we'll swap in something else from an Ontario maker.
Basket or box?
Your choice. Every order comes in either a wicker basket or a gift box. The basket looks good on a desk. The box stacks better in a mailroom.
Can I build my own?
Yes. Our basket builder lets you pick the container, the size, the products and the packaging, one step at a time. Or tell us the budget and who it's for, and we'll build it for you.

Corporate gifting
Do you do corporate gifts?
It's most of what we do. Client gifts, staff thank-yous, holiday boxes, welcome packs for new starters. We've put together gifts for teams at St. Michael's Hospital, Walkin the Dog, Craft & Key and Clavis Social.
Can you add our company branding?
Yes, and it's free. Custom ribbon, thank-you slips and gift tags, in Purely Ontario branding, co-branded with yours, or fully in your branding. Product swaps are free on corporate orders too.
How far ahead should we order for the holidays?
Earlier than you think. Our makers work in small batches, so the sooner we know your numbers, the more choice you get. For large Christmas orders, get in touch as early in the autumn as you can.
Can we see a sample first?
For larger corporate orders, yes. Get in touch and we'll arrange one, so you can see what your team or clients will actually get.

Delivery
Where are you based?
Toronto. Everything is sourced from makers across Ontario and put together here.
Do you deliver?
Order 10 or more boxes and we'll hand deliver anywhere in Ontario. Smaller orders ship across Canada.
Can I send one to someone who's left Ontario?
Yes, anywhere in Canada. A box of home tends to land well with people who miss it.
